| In Focus Church met for the first worship service November 20, 1988 in Rome, Georgia. It is a New Testament local church that is Biblical in its teaching, Christ-centered in its worship and people-oriented in its ministry. In Focus is a Spirit-filled Southern Baptist congregation that preaches the full gospel message. We believe, that as Christians, we are called to carry out the ministry of Jesus Christ today through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our philosophy of ministry is based on the fulfillment of His divine mandate and ministry as set for us in Luke 4:18. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted; to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” This website is not for the sole purpose of promoting our church, but is a channel through which you may receive ministry. Ministry received here is free. Freely we have received so freely we give. If you have come to the place in your life where you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, we want you to know there is a way out of that place. We have been where you are and have found that through the Lord Jesus Christ salvation, healing, deliverance and wholeness are a reality. Our goal is to share with you how the Lord Jesus Christ can make a difference in your life, and be available to minister to you.
